Features of the Master's program:

1. One of Taiwan’s most unique industries
Chinese as a second language (CSL) teaching market is expanding rapidly, and Mandarin Chinese is expected to become the second-largest language industry in the world. The only Chinese-speaking countries in the world are China and Taiwan. Taiwan’s Ministry of Education sends hundreds of Chinese teachers abroad every year. Mandarin Chinese language has become prevalent, and CSL teaching industry is highly competitive in the workplace!


2. Postgraduates have sufficient opportunities for Chinese language teaching internships to cultivate practical teaching experience

The university department of this department is a degree class for foreign students. The school also has the Taoyuan headquarters and Taipei branch of the Kainan Chinese Language Center to recruit foreign students who come to Taiwan to learn Chinese for a short period of time. Graduate students of the master's degree program can apply for teaching internships in the University Department and the Chinese Language Center. After graduation, they have the opportunity to apply for part-time teachers in the University Department and the Chinese Language Center of the Department of Chinese Language.

4. Scholarships and bursaries

Authors without full-time staff can apply for postgraduate grants (NTD. 5000/ per month), and those with excellent grades in the first year can receive scholarships.
Foreign students can get free tuition and miscellaneous fees for the first semester after applying for admission.

 Required documents:

  • A photocopy of the highest degree diploma and a photocopy of the previous transcripts. (Foreign academic qualifications must be verified by Chinese embassies and consulates abroad)
  • An autobiography and study plan.
  • Foreign students must attach a copy of the Chinese Language Proficiency Test Level 4 or above certificate.
  • A copy of other materials useful for review (such as books, special reports, scholarships and other award-winning materials, and performance certificates of participating clubs, otherwise exempted).
  • Total score calculation method: written review (100%)
